These stunning photos where taken by Margaret Owen
a resident of Wembley, Western Australia.
Margaret is passionate about our native flora and fauna and for many years she has been
involved in community efforts to save our precious remnant bushland from destruction due
to development proposals involving state and local governments and the University of Western Australia.
Unfortunately, some of our politicians and bureaucrats have been ignoring genuine and totally justifiable community concerns about the irreparable damage to our environment and health due to these thoughtless and destructive activities. These natural ecosystems promote our indigenous species and provide a stable habitat for many natural flora and fauna. Help us get our message across to the councils and state government to stop destroying these precious habitats.
